Maddie came home from school with broken glasses...no note, no explanation for John, just broken glasses. No phone call. I know I am a bit over protective & might have a tad bit of control issues - ok maybe more than a little, but come on! When eye glasses average $200 I would think that would warrant a call or note. The teacher had enough time & foresight to duct tape them...no kidding! Duct tape! Thanks for the nasty goo I have to try to clean off before I can find out if they need to be taken in or if I could fix them. Nope. Completely broken.
I'm such a frustrated mamma. All I can get out of her is she got knocked down & they got broken while her friend Brannon helped her up. I hope to find out the whole story tomorrow.
Other than that there's not too much to tell. I started feeling a start of a migraine this am & then took a pill & it worked :)
So I'm working on building some garden planters out of pallets. I'm trying to "recycle" and go the frugal route... I can tell John would rather just go buy new lumber, lol. Fun times... I'll let ya know how my building project goes :)
Allright, it's that time again. I'm gonna get some sleep for work tomorrow. Goodnight friends!
Poor sweet Maddie! Hope you are able to get her another pair of glasses.
