First, we went & picked up papa & went to catch 7 chickens and put them in a carrier. (We were getting the girls from my uncle...not like the side of the road or anything, lol) Then we stopped to see Aunt Sue, and have the best chicken salad ever! (If you are ever in Cherokee you have to stop by Sue's) of course Maddie got ice cream, so she was a happy girl.
We chatted for a while & then took papa home & we came home to introduce the new girls to our resident girls. :) we have a full chicken coop! Yay for eggs!
Even though the day looked dreary Maddie took her requisite dip in the pool, which I have to add was 72 degrees... Brrr! Crazy crazy girl!
But John started a fire in the chimnea to warm her up afterwards. Then it started sprinkling so we have been inside watching movies. What a fun day!
The day flew by... I'm sad that I have to work tomorrow, I really hate weekend shifts. But I have a large possibility of being able to go to my old stomping grounds tomorrow at Dell! Yay! Cross your fingers! It's also a huge plus that my BFF is working tomorrow also! It would be like the old days!
So that's about it. Tomorrow is Football Sunday!! 3:25 Denver vs KC! Go Broncos! I'll need updates please!
