Day 107 & 18

Damnit! My post disappeared! How does that happen? Lol

Well, just so you know, it was very insightful & deep. ;) Too bad none of y'all will ever see it. 

It started out something like this... I had a great day at work. I love my job, esp on days where I have great bonding moments.  I am lucky on days like this. I hope tomorrow is half as good. 

And then it was Kindergarten Open House....and Maddie loved it! I have been worrying about where we are planning to send her...but it looks like it will all work out. 

Man, the time just flies by! 1 more week if Pre-K & then BAM! She's in Kinder! Wow. 

And I'm sure I am jinxing myself here, but no headache tonight! :) yay!

Day 106 & 17

Another day is almost over.  Ready to get back to the grind for two days starting tomorrow. Gotta gear up, lol! :) 

So I don't have much to report today. Same story, different day. 

Hope everyone has a great night, I can finally take my meds & go to bed. :)

Day 105 & 16.

Man, it feels like the Rifampin countdown is taking forever...crazy, huh? It's probably just cuz I'm keeping track of both numbers. Oh well. 

Of course it's another headache day... Seems like I keep hearing that it's a big side effect from Rifampin. So that explains it. They really suck but still, it's better than liver failure & permanent peripheral neuropathy, right? :) I'm starting to cope with them better. 

And onto a fun day. A day off...and lunch with my bestie :) Love me some creamy jalapeño dip!  Then came home to nap... & then swam with the fam before making dinner with mom. That's a pretty awesome day. There are still days where I look around & can say I'm a lucky girl. 

I am seriously neglecting my older sister though, we need girl time soon. Sorry sis! I love you!

So, back to the swimming part...for the last week or so we have been seeing a lot of the members of our local 4J bee colony. They really like the left scupper. I couldn't get a good clear pic (cuz the suckers move so dang fast) but here are a couple... 

Yea, not very good pics, but there are acting like they want to move in. And only on that one side. Hmmm. I noticed that they really like the wild Texas-sized sunflowers in the backyard. John thinks they may be getting their drink on & getting some food & going back to their hive. I don't know...just don't want them relocating to the scuppers, lol. Obviously they don't bother anyone, Maddie still jumps off from the top of the wall & they just hang out. I just like them better when I can only hear the hive from the backyard. I prefer a distance of at least a few hundred feet. Know anyone who speaks bee? ;) 

There is a local beekeeper in Liberty Hill that will come out & set up a hive that they can harvest from...I'm thinking of calling them. More on that later. 

Everyone else is already in bed, it's my turn. Hope everyone has a good night & sweet fantasy football fantasy dreams. ;)

Day 15 & 104 - just another headache day

Good day overall...until this afternoon when the storm rolled in. I think it woke up that headache that had been sleeping peacefully.  Oh well, can't win them all, can we?

Currently I am rocking my peppermint oil & chillin in a dark room. Well, dark except for my phone. :) 

There is a possible big event tomorrow. Wish me luck!

It's awesome...love that they have such a fun side.

Day 14 & 103

Some days are just fantastic work days. Especially when you work with really good nurses. :) It was a super busy day, but not overwhelming. I think staying busy helped me not dwell on my head. 

Before bed I used the peppermint oil again. I really like the scent & feeling. My head has been more of a dull ache & not so terrible. Yay for small victories! 

Well is better hit the hay, we all have busy days tomorrow..and it starts early. :)

Day 13 & 102

What a day. This headache pretty much never went away , started from waking up. I've taken every NSAID I have & went out & got peppermint oil. Which I really like...it helped me relax & not feel so bad...for about 15 minutes. I also took a bath with it & the lavender oil that my girl Stef gave me a few months ago. That was nice...but still didn't kill it. 

Nothing has made it go away totally today... I have had some minor relief, but I think it's a little too tough to tackle at this point. 

So I just rubbed more on my temples & the spot on the back of my head where it really hurts. And took a Xanax. And I'm going to bed. That's what I'm hoping for anyway, lol. 

I've got to try to get some rest so I can gear up for my babies at work tomorrow! I am making myself go. What better place to be with a headache that won't go away than a hospital? I can always go down to the ED if it gets too bad.

Day 12 & 101

Oh my... Where does the time go? It's been a crazy fun busy day today, emotions not as bad as they have been. I'm having faith that good will prevail. :) Or trying to anyway. 

Can you believe that my baby is starting kindergarten in two weeks? For reals! 

How does it happen so fast? I am excited & sad about it... Which totally makes no sense. 

I am going shopping tomorrow to try to find some peppermint oil for Joyce's suggestion for my headaches. Cross your fingers for me. I hope it works! :) if so it's way better than taking another pill.

And who watched the Broncos last night? Heck yes! :) who cares if it's preseason? It's a win! Yay! 

Nice! I can almost hear the "Hurry Hurry!"
